Indoor & Outdoor Dog Park Requirements
Cycle Dog Tavern and Dog Park Rules & Liability Agreement
- Socialization and Behavior:
Dogs must be well-socialized and get along with other dogs and people. Aggressive behavior, including bullying, excessive barking, or fighting, will result in removal from the park or a 10-minute time-out. - Vaccinations and Spaying/Neutering:
Written proof of Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccinations is required. Dogs over 9 months must be spayed or neutered to participate in off-leash play. - Health Requirement:
Dogs must be in good health and free from any communicable diseases to enter the park. - Leash and Supervision:
Dogs must be on a leash while outside the gated areas and in the Tavern. Owners must remain in control of their dog at all times and cannot leave them unattended. - Cell Phones and Laptops:
Cell phones must not distract from supervising your dog, and laptops are not allowed in the dog park to ensure the focus is on play. - Waste Cleanup:
Dogs must relieve themselves outside of the dog park areas, and owners are responsible for cleaning up any accidents immediately, disposing of waste in outdoor trash bins. We recommend taking your dog outside for a potty break every 20 minutes of play. - Prohibited Items:
No outside toys, treats, or training tools are allowed in the park. Training collars must be removed before entry. - Play and Behavior Management:
Cycle Dog staff may ask you to take a 10-minute break or remove your dog from play if their behavior becomes disruptive, including excessive barking or humping. For the safety and well-being of your dog, Cycle Dog staff may also determine that your dog is not a good fit for the current group and may temporarily deny entry. - Marking Behavior:
Dogs that repeatedly mark in the play area may be asked to leave and will be restricted from future open play. - Fighting and Injury:
Any aggressive behavior that results in injury will lead to permanent exclusion from open play. If your dog injures another person or dog, they will be restricted to scheduled private play only going forward. Oregon law requires any incidents involving injury to be reported to Animal Control. - Training and Trainers:
Cycle Dog is not a training facility. Outside trainers are not allowed to work with clients inside, and any training-related misconduct or tool misuse will result in removal from the facility. - Accident Reporting:
Owners must immediately report any incidents, accidents, or injuries involving their dog to Cycle Dog staff. - Reservation Rights for Entry:
Cycle Dog staff reserves the right to refuse or limit membership access at any time based on behavior, playgroup fit, or other factors to ensure safety and enjoyment for all dogs.
By registering your dog for membership to Cycle Dog Tavern and Dog Parks, you acknowledge and agree to these rules and accept full responsibility and liability for your dog and its behavior while on Cycle Dog property.
Cycle Dog reserves the right to refuse or limit membership access to Cycle Dog Tavern and Dog Parks at any time for any reason.
